Using several shades of the same color, rather than larger pieces of a solid color, creates quilt sparkle. The “background” areas of this quilt sparkles to show students how to achieve this affect. Made using my Complete Quilt Designer Pattern Booklet and color value was studied throughout the process by looking through the layout using the Ruby Ruler™.
