So, you’d like to make a quilt, but don’t want to follow someone’s pattern, or learn crazy piecing. That’s not the point of this quilt. Its more about using fabric you have saved for a quilt, and you just want to learn what you need to know to make it, AND make it enjoyable. See variations of quilts made using this pattern system in the 2nd and 3rd photos. But there are infinite ways to use this pattern!!
That was me once, and here’s what I created to help you do the same. This pattern booklet provides you with instructions and information to explain exactly what you need to know, without all the stuff you don’t need to know. Use the easy to follow information in the booklet to decide the quilt size you want to make (pillow, crib, throw, twin, queen, and king size info included). From there, design the look you want (there are printable coloring sheets to draw out your design), then fill in the worksheet to find out how much yardage you need, how many squares you need to cut, and piecing info. All based on 5″ squares, this booklet breaks down quilt making into its easiest to understand form. You will use it again and again.
**Consider yourself more of a visual learner? You can order the PDF pattern with the additional instructional video option, in which I show you exactly how I use this pattern system.
