If you have lots of fabrics in your stash (I’m looking at YOU), and are looking for inspiration to use them up, this pattern will get you there! This pattern relies on the magic of light and dark color value between a lot of different printed quilting fabrics.
Not sure what that is? There are tips inside the pattern to help you understand how to divide your printed quilting cottons between dark and light value stacks.
Don’t forget a Ruby Ruler™. This is my 5″ ruler that also acts as a color value lens. Hold it about 6″ from your eyes and look at any pile of fabrics through it. The color of the lens cancels out the colors in the fabric and allows you to focus on the value differences in your fabrics.
- Cutting and piecing instructions for Crib, Throw, and Twin, Queen, and King sizes.
- Clear illustrations and a design page are included to help you plan out your design.
- Links to all kinds of videos tips to help you with your quilt (tips for basting your layers, creating a portable design wall, adding a label to your quilt, my favorite binding method, and much more).
This pattern is suitable for a beginner who is familiar with a sewing machine and has a familiarity with rotary cutters, quilting rulers, etc.
