You know how you get obsessed with something and need to make it? Yes? No? Well, maybe I’m the only one. I got the idea of these stitched and woven brooches in my head and couldn’t stop thinking about them until I made them. The original idea was a mashup between a piece of vintage embroidery done with a weaving technique that I played with, and Japanese Sashiko (which I love!). Learn the technique and you’ll be able to add it to all kinds of fabrics.
