I was so happy to finally see the Andrew Wyeth exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. Emma and I wandered the halls and marveled at seeing so many of his pieces up close. His depiction of cloth and clothing, the textures and draping really got me, these paintings were just a few of my favorites. I wanted to touch so many of the pieces, his ability to render details in an animal’s fur, or in a man’s coat, almost make the paintings look flocked.
I want to personally apologize to the colors beige and brown. I’m very sorry I every doubted your ability to be a color. I was definitely wrong.
