Every package I ship has a tracking number that is sent to you in an email the moment it is shipped. (If you do not receive this email in your in box, please check your spam or junk folder.) If I had an “in” at the USPS, I would likely bake him/her a cake and try my best to get on their best side, in hopes that they would make sure each of the packages I send are shipped smoothly and without a single delay. In lieu of finding that person, I’m afraid the tracking I see on the USPS site is exactly what you see. If you package has not made a single move in your tracking info for more than two weeks from the date it was shipped, please email me and let’s figure something out. Otherwise, I’m afraid it’s at the mercy of the postal folks.
Thank you for ordering! Please note that you have three download attempts for each PDF pattern. and the download link expires in 10 days. I encourage you to save your pattern immediately after purchase to a device that can save the file, and allow you to access later.
Downloading from “Order Received” screen on the website- Once you input billing information, payment method, and payment processes, you will get to a screen like the one below. Clicking on the pattern name under “Downloads” in the area circled in yellow below will automatically download your file. (Note- This counts as your first download. If you are clicking on this from a smart phone or iPad, be sure that is where you will be saving it and you know how to retrieve it.)
Downloading from the confirmation email– You will receive an email from me after your purchase with the subject line – Your Wise Craft Handmade order is now complete. This email contains a link to your pattern PDF file, located in the “Download” Column in yellow circle area below. Click on the file name to download your pattern file. (Note- This counts as your first download. If you are clicking on this from a smart phone or iPad, be sure that is where you will be saving it and you know how to retrieve it.)
You have 3 download attempts, and your download links expire 10 days from date of purchase. If you have exhausted your download attempts and still can’t find your pattern, you can send me at email (blair@wisecrafthandmade.com) and I can reset your download attempts, and resend the confirmation email with the link. I prefer all purchased patterns to be downloaded directly from the website instead of me just emailing you the pattern. Downloading using the steps above actually “stamps” the file with your name to discourage sharing with others who haven’t bought the pattern. This offers me some protection as the designer. Emailing a file to you doesn’t.
Yes, we do! Make sure to choose your country from the dropdown menu field under your billing name (see below). Also, if I overcharge you for international shipping, I will refund you when I process your order.
I ship all packages via USPS first class postage with a tracking number. I usually ship out 2-3 times a week. If there is an unforeseen delay, I will email you to let you know.
When the postage label is created, you will receive an email to notify you that your order has been completed, with a tracking number. If you don’t see this, please check your spam or junk folder.
Please check your Spam email folder first, these can often go in there. If you don’t see it there, and it has been more than 48 hours since your order was placed, please email me at blair@wisecrafthandmade.com.
These delays happen in the world of First Class packages, and often the package will begin to move along again, with no explanation for the delay (weather? bottom of the mail truck?). Its frustrating, but (sometimes much) higher postage fees is just as frustrating. Usually a day or two and the package seems to be moving through the system again.
I am currently switching over all my shipping envelopes and packing materials to eco-friendly, reusable, recyclable packaging. Thank you for caring about the environment
