I really love scrappy quilts, and this one is just so HAPPY!
This quilt, originally published in the 2020 Quilter’s Planner supplemental magazine, was a hit with quilters who wanted to sew through their stash and really learn some skills around color value and how to incorporate into their quilt design. The secret to the Rojas quilt design is that it uses many fabrics, and divides them into color value groups. This creates a fun scrappy look with a cohesive design. This pattern contains helpful design tips throughout to help you understand how to divide your fabrics by color value. Choose the pattern/ Ruby Ruler®️ option to get my favorite tool for working with many fabrics. It will help you determine color value differences by looking through the red tint of the ruler at your chosen fabrics. Not sure what how this works? Be sure to watch my Ruby Ruler®️ video to see how I use it. Its quickly becoming a favorite among scrappy quilters.
*Pattern includes complete cutting and piecing instructions for Crib, Throw, Twin, Queen and King sizes.
