Blair had a full career in apparel design and merchandising before falling in love with quilting. She worked for many years for the North American licensee of Marithé & François Girbaud (the literal inventors of stonewashing!). Denim is something that was part of Blair’s daily work life for many years, it felt only natural for her to explore using it in a quilt. The design of this quilt is based on the classic quilt block called “Delectable Mountains”.
