A collection of women’s hankies inspired this quilt. Blair had a few and they all had “Jean D’Orly” as the stamped signature. Online research didn’t reveal a ton of information about these hankies, but there were a generous supply of them listed on Ebay, and that’s how the collection became large enough to pick and choose what would be used in this quilt. A more modern interpretation of the handkerchief quilts Blair had seen in the past. It wasn’t as scary to cut into them as she thought it would be!
