The thousand pyramids quilt block, a one block design, feels both modern and nostalgic. This quilt was first made by Blair for her book, Wise Craft Quilts, using a collection of clothing meant for donation after a closet clean out. Reusing things is such an inspiring way to quilt!

This new version has a soft visual feel created by using low volume or low value fabrics. Blair divides those into lights and darks (yes, there are darks in some of those) and creates an all over light feel with lots of secondary, larger triangles across the design.
