How to use the 2 1/2″ square Ruby Minder™-
Place your fabric and embroidery thread choices together on a table. Hold the Ruby Minder™ equal distance between them and your eyes. Looking through the red lens reduces all of the colors into simple light and dark values. This information can help you see whether your chosen thread will pop, blend softly, or disappear against the background.
In addition, the Ruby Minder™ also “minds” up to 12 thread/floss colors for your current project. Slip cut skeins through one of the holes, replace the color bands if you like (I like to write the color # with a dry erase marker) to keep all your threads tidy, visible, and ready to stitch.
