Last week I accidentally splattered oil from a new jar of almond butter on this shirt. It’s been a favorite of mine for about 2 years (bought on sale at Anthropologie). I was looking online at Anthropologie recently and came across the beautiful work of Carola van Dyke. She has a selection of pillows for sale through them, and when I looked further into what she does, I fell deep into the rabbit hole of uniquely beautiful textile taxidermy, ceramics, and cushions.

My Appearance on New Day Northwest

 

That wasn’t at all as as scary as I thought it would be. (Well, first I didn’t think it would be scary, then I did, and then I didn’t, and then I did, and then it was time to film.) The producers, Margaret Larson, and everyone on the set of New Day Northwest made it an easy morning when I was there taping my segment yesterday.
