Learn English Paper Piecing and Slow Stitch with me!

If you are in the Seattle area, join me for an evening of hand stitching beautiful fabric! On Thursday, April 20th from 6-8:00, I’ll be at Pacific Place in downtown Seattle, teaching you everything you need to know to make the Hand Stitched Wall Hanging project in Wise Craft Quilts using a technique called English Paper Piecing. In this 2 hour Pop up workSHOP, in coordination with The Handmade Showroom, students will discover the absolute joy and relaxation of the current trend of “slow stitching”. Hand stitching is one of the most relaxing things I do these days, and I always keep some with me when I need to unwind. I knew when I wrote my book that I wanted to include a hand stitching, portable project for those of us who don’t want to do all our sewing at the sewing machine.  (I’ll show you how to make up your own carry-along kit during the class). Suitable for any skill level- if you can thread a needle, then you’re good to go- and can be completed in a weekend. Bring your most coveted fabric scraps or pick from my fabrics during the class! I will also have quilts on display from the book, and copies of my book will be available for purchase.
