This was an idea Blair had while writing her book, Wise Craft Quilts. While her kids had no real interest in sewing a quilt during that time, cyanotype, or sun printing, was a way to preserve some of the many many sketches, drawings, and haikus created by them. And watching them “print” while being exposed to the sun was something they could all do together. A way to collectively preserve and bring to life some of a family’s favorite things.
