Blair’s husband Peter always said she should make a quilt out of ski jackets. They are already quilted, he said. When Cheryl Arkison asked her to contribute to her book, You Inspire Me to Quilt, she decided that would be the project. They visited a few thrift stores, found colors of jackets that were good, and Blair set to work. This was not an easy quilt to make, and there are still feathers flying around the Seattle house she lived in while making it.
