About a dozen old cases containing salesmen sample swatches and order forms for men’s outerwear sold by the Progress Tailoring Company, of Chicago Illinois, back in the 1950’s, was given to Blair. This quilt slowly evolved into a quilt of salesmen sample swatches, mixed in with some additional wool pieces for color that Blair found on Etsy.
