New Online Chicken Scratch Embroidery Class!

I’ve been busy this Spring working on several new projects, and I’m happy to release one of them today!

Snowflake Star Embroidery Pattern and online class is available now. I taught this as a workshop at Quiltcon this year, and got many requests to make it available as an online class. I thought about it and decided it was a good idea. This beautiful star motif is sort of my own homage to the vintage craft of chicken scratch. It’s the first chicken scratch design I played around with, and its the perfect intro into the technique.

As always, the class is yours forever. (I’ve been asked what “forever” means. If for whatever reason your access to the online class will go away, I will be sure to notify you so you can download the lessons and keep them.) Take it when and how it works for you. Slow the lessons down, skip around to rewatch what you want.

I have a limited amount of kits available for the class. This is a great solution if you are traveling this summer and would like to take this project along with you. Embroider the panel and finish it how you’d like. I’ve made these panels into a mini quilt, a pillow, and as a block in a quilt.
