This is the thread and the color choices I use for all my scrappy quilting.

Aurifil’s 50wt/2ply thread is a super versatile machine and hand sewing thread made in Italy. It is characteristically thin but strong, resulting in flat seams.

Tip- Aurifil recommends 80/12 Microtex/Sharp sewing machine needle
