Quilting Inspiration From Reclaimed Textiles Webinar

Modern Quilt Guild Webinar

If you are a current member of the Modern Quilt Guild, my webinar Quilting Inspiration from Reclaimed Textiles is now available for viewing on their site.
This is such a broad topic, one that I really enjoy talking about and researching. Textiles that come to us with their own stories, such as ones found in thrift stores or given to us by family and friends. My love of these are what became my book Wise Craft Quilts. Without going on and on, my hope was to pack this webinar with a lot of useful and practical information. In it, I outline techniques and tips for how I clean vintage or just old fabric, that I plan to reuse. How to choose what I keep and use, strategies for cutting, sewing, etc. There is lots of images, to hopefully inspire you to look around and discover what you can upcycle into your own quilt! I hope you will listen and get in touch with questions.
