For Emma’s 11th birthday this past November, I gave her a stack of felt in every color I could find, an assortment of beads, sequins, embroidery thread, and this book.
I think it was a hit!
they’re all completely fabulous. i wish she could hang out with ellie – i think they’d have a lot of fun together! happy birthday to your sweet 11 year old. (holy moly, 11!)
wow — super sweet! emma’s definitely got the crafty gene 🙂
wouldn’t they be amazing to display in a shadowbox frame..? i see them with a handmade background, arranged in a little scene, a la japanese craft book.
hmm… maybe i need to get stitching on a few for my own shadowbox frame diorama!
so sweet, all the more for what happened before what we see here. as to display, could they be strung up in a mobile? i can’t imagine a more darling sight, spinning lazily in the breeze.
an ii year old made these? impressive! Love the entire collection 🙂

I gave the exact same gift to my 11 yr. old for Christmas this year (book and a rainbow stack of felt)! There’s a little hoodie wolf sitting on my desk looking at me right now…
