The quiltalong is free to join, but you will need to purchase a copy of the pattern (links below). You may also want to pick up a Ruby Ruler®. It’s an optional design tool, and Blair will be showing how she uses it throughout the quiltalong.

Weekly Content
Week 1
This week’s assignment is to gather your fabrics, and sort them into value groups. Also pick up a pattern if you don’t already have one (links above).
Videos-
If you are planning to make the pattern cover quilt, in the “Pretty Things” fabric collection by Denyse Schmidt, you can download a key to how I sorted those fabrics into value groups.
Week 2
This week we are cutting all of our fabrics. Create a space, put on some music or audio book, make sure you have a sharp rotary blade, and cut!

Is the quiltalong free?
The quiltalong itself is absolutely free to join and participate in. But if you want to make the Dash quilt, you will need to purchase a pattern. PDF and Printed Patterns are available in the shop.
Are there Dash quilt kits available?
Interested in making the quilt on the cover of the pattern? Kits are available for the Dash sewalong through Sewtopia!
I'm late signing up! Can I still participate?
The official dates for the Dash quiltalong is Monday, June 9th through Monday, July 7th, and new information is released every Monday during those dates. If you are late to the Dash party, don’t sweat it. Jump in any time, bookmark this page, which has all the links you need.
I know myself well enough to know I won't finish my Dash quilt in 5 weeks! How long do I have access to the videos?
I hear you… extra hours in my days is always on my Christmas list… But do not worry, the videos will live over on my YouTube Channel and will not go anywhere!
