My first “vlog”
I’m trying out a new (to me) type of video storytelling format over on my YouTube Channel. I find myself watching these quiet, longer form videos of artisans making things on occasion, and it seems to be such a calming, interesting way to tell a full story of making something. So I thought it might be fun to try it out. I chose to remake my free heart pattern, “Love is Scrappy”, in various shades of indigo denim. Quite a strong contrast from the original version of this mini quilt, which was done in pinks, corals, and reds.
I’d love to hear what you think of this kind of visual storytelling! I really enjoyed making it, and sadly, it was the one time I was able to sew during the week I made it, so I was thankful for that.
