I’m trying out a new (to me) type of video storytelling format over on my YouTube Channel. I find myself watching these quiet, longer form videos of artisans making things on occasion, and it seems to be such a calming, interesting way to tell a full story of making something. So I thought it might be fun to try it out. I chose to remake my free heart pattern, “Love is Scrappy”, in various shades of indigo denim. Quite a strong contrast from the original version of this mini quilt, which was done in pinks, corals, and reds.I’d love to hear what you think of this kind of visual storytelling! I really enjoyed making it, and sadly, it was the one time I was able to sew during the week I made it, so I was thankful for that.
