Stacks of Books

If anyone is looking for kid’s chapter books at Seattle Goodwill stores, I must apologize now, because I think the kids and I cleaned house around town yesterday. I told them they could have any chapter book they wanted, so “go get to shopping!”. (We are on Spring Break, and I insisted everyone have an ample supply of books to lose themselves in.) As a mom, isn’t it the best when we get to say a resounding “yes!”?

we’re on break too. It’s good to have them home isn’t it? I think we cleaned our thrift store out of every nice quality solid girls t-shirt yesterday. I must have brought home 30 pcs. of kids clothing. applique is in our immediate future.

The Magician’s Nephew was my favorite in the Chronicles of Narnia series.

Ah, the goodwill and books! It’s a marvel. Haven’t been since we moved; it’s about time. We are just getting lots in Narnia, too, and I’m so looking forward to reading the six I never got around to as a child. Happy Break!

The Silver Chair, great book. My favorite was A Horse and His Boy from that series.
