New in the shop- Cotillion Quilt Pattern printed copies

I’ve just added printed copies in the shop of my newest quilt pattern, Cotillion. I named this pattern Cotillion because the on point squares that the blocks form seem to, well, dance! I made the cover quilt using the “Smol” line, designed by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society (shipping to stores October (this month) 2020). This line so perfect for use in a quilt pattern- the little motifs don’t get chopped up when you cut the fabric up for a quilt design.

The added bonus? If you use an entire fat quarter set of Smol to make this quilt, careful cutting will allow you to make both the evening AND afternoon colorways of this quilt (throw size). The afternoon colorway is pictured on the back of the pattern.

The benefits of purchasing a printed pattern vs. a PDF pattern? I print on both sides of the sheets, using a bright white paper that doesn’t show through to the other side. Also, I don’t know about you, but my home printer only seems to have problems when I need to print something out 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Ruby Ruler

Oh! And this pattern was designed using my Ruby Ruler™, the color value lens and cutting tool I designed to make all my scrappy value-based quilt with. See this video to find out how I use this handy little value viewing tool and acrylic cutting ruler.
