New PDF pattern- Rojas

I created the Rojas quilt design originally for the 2020 Quilter’s Planner. Since then I’ve gotten several requests to release it as a standalone pattern.

Good news! Just released today, the new Rojas pattern has expanded instructions and more sizes- Crib, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King. The PDF file also has tons of clickable links within the pattern that will take you to free videos I’ve made to help you with construction, product recommendations, etc. There’s new tips for sorting your fabrics by color value, prompts and tips to get you not to overthink the design of each block. You can use all your scraps to really make this quilt a snapshot of your stash for 2020!

Rojas PDF Cover

This quilt design was loosely inspired by artist Clare Rojas. Mainly her use of color. I was looking through some of her work when I was creating the original design and Rojas just seemed to fit (I tagged her on Instagram and she approved!)

There may be printed versions of this pattern at some point soon, but for now, we’re officially snowed in at my house! So, the PDF version was released first!

I love the cover image of this pattern, taken by my niece Cate Dingley. Its always fun to see my quilts through the eyes of photographers I admire, especially when they don’t usually shoot things like quilts (Cate is much more into shooting interesting people).
