We could all use incentive to give and receive some happy mail!
New in the shop are beautiful blank inside cards from artist Neicy Frey, in Spokane, Washington. I have some pieces of Neicy’s work in our home, I’m a huge fan! When I saw that she was now carrying cards, I loved the idea of having my favorites in the shop.
I am suddenly filled with inspiration now that I am fully moved into my studio. I got the urge last week to make a new holiday stocking design from my pretty Liberty of London scraps. A few prototypes and its almost ready to release! I am SO happy with how it turned out!
If you’ve never taken a class from me and are curious about my online classes- This stocking will be a full PDF pattern and an online class. You’ll get to see a little bit about how I teach and within the video class you can ask me questions, etc.

As we ease back into in-person workshops and lectures, It felt like a good time to update my workshop and lecture offerings. I miss teaching in person, but I have really come around to virtual lectures and workshops, both as a teach and a student. It opens learning up to so many more people! And I can’t say I’m exactly sad about not having to lug 75 plus quilts to a lecture. READ MORE
Wall of Windows in the Quilt Studio
There’s been lots of work happening here at our Santa Fe house. To bring you up to date- We had planned to buy a house with a studio already built, but when we found our house and its amazing location, we quickly decided it was THE house. Its super lovely but small, even for 2 people who downsized before moving in. Adding on to it was always part of the plan. We finalized plans to add on to it in 2020, but COVID and things that go with that initially slowed things down. Construction finally started about 10 weeks ago.
