#myquiltcouldlivehere- Tufted

As I was stuck on the computer last week, getting the new site ready, I decided to make a new quilt collage for the Tufted quilt project that is in the current issue of Simply Moderne Magazine (Issue #14).

I love this quilt for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is its scrappy goodness. Its a great example of how looking at scraps through the Ruby Ruler™ can show your eye some very subtle value differences between fabrics. Value differences like these may seem insignificant, but they are actually what make a quilt design like Tufted come alive and sparkle. Plus I felt that the gray around the edges framed all the scraps very nicely, and helped further define their value differences.
